Default Recirculated BOV

My car is a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and I have just ordered your base injection kit. The vehicle is turbocharged in a draw-through style setup with the blowoff/bypass valve recirculating the air back through the compressor instead of venting to the atmosphere.

A lot of people are suggesting that I place the nozzle a few inches before the throttle body. The only problem I have with that is when my throttle closes any water/meth that didn't make it into the throttle body will be recirculated back through my compressor. A few books I have read have stated that this will have a "sand blasting" effect on my compressor wheel.

Please leave any comments or suggestions you may have. I want to do this the right way and hope to avoid any trouble down the road.

Thank you.

Do you have space to mount behind the throttle body?

I could order a throttle body spacer and tap into that, that would be one option.

Someone just pointed something out to me, its so simple I can't believe I overlooked it. I plan on having your kit switch on at ~4psi......so it will also switch off at ~4psi. There shouldn't be any water/methanol in the intake charge when the throttle closes anyway. Well, maybe some if I completely let off at 8psi.

What do you guys think? I'm not too thrilled about the idea of tapping a throttle body spacer b/c I feel like having the nozzle a few inches in front of the throttle body will allow for the water/methanol to mix in a little better with the intake charge.

The is just a small amount that comes out after you let off, Doubfull enoungh to cause any damage to the impeller because it's still mist. There is nothing wrong with utilizing a throttle body spacer, At almost 200psi and 800CFM of air it does not take but a second to mix together.

there are vehicles that have the MAF in the trottle body this is there only option.

Ha, I won't be seeing anywhere near 800CFM. Probably around 300cfm or less. 2.5L engine, 6200 redline, 8psi (for now). Either way, I see your point.
