Hi all, I will be buying the universal stage 2 kit for my 1995 Rx7. It currently has the stock 1 bar map sensor and I was wondering which controller I need to purchase and whether the voltage controller is compatible with my setup. thanks |

Your not going to want to use that with your 1 bar, You can get a second 2 bar sensor and let the controller run it and read it or use the voltage controller on the MAF sensor.

hi dvldoc, thanks for your quick reply! I'm a total newbie when it comes to these things so excuse my ignorance ![]() I just spoke to my mechanic and he told me that I will not be needing more then 1 bar, due to the fact I will not be increasing boost substantially and will only be using the kit to decrease temperature and increase reliability. In the future when I upgrade things this might change. Also my ECU is quite similar to stock (not apexi or haltech) and therefore is only compatible with my current 1 bar map sensor. Therefore out of the 4 controllers which one do I need to get? Thanks for your help!! |

When it comes to map sensor 1bar is for reading vacuum, Because the sensor takes in account atmosphere pressure thats why it's one bar. 2 bar is for 1 to 15psi of boost, 3bar is for 1 to 30psi of boost. The Mech should have known this. 1 bar map sensors are for n/a vehicles. |
