| Alcohol Water Injection | This why we have this forum, so here is the first newb question Ok, I looked over slopokes write up I noticed he has allot more blue tubing then me. I got in my kit the braided hose and blue tubing with one end cut off and the other end with a connection. Now, my question is. I run the blue hose from the washer fluid bottle tot he pump, then the braided hose from the other side of the pump to the nozzle???? Now, where does the check valve go? Also, when I connect these fitting to the pump, nozzle etc. Do I need to put any RVT tape on them? Trust me, there will be more questions. LOL I'm more of a show first person, then I can do it exactly how the person before me did it. It tough for me to understands everything with pictures and little descriptions. btw, that is a good write up slopoke. It answered allot of questions that I don’t need to ask now. Thanks Steven

You are right on your kit with the braided line with the placement. You DO NOT EVER want to use teflon tape with the fittings. Buy some liquid teflon and use that instead. Yes, it is very expensive but, you will not run the change in clogging your nozzle with it and it seals VERY well. Questions are good, keep them coming. now, the check valve should face toward the nozzle about 2 inches from it. The Arrow should face the direction of the flow. Let me know how the install goes, -Chris |

It depends on what type of check valve you have. If you have a screw it type it just screws right into the 90 degree piece. It should look like this if not let me know and I'll send you a different one. If you have a spacer it's already attached to it. If you are placing the nozzle in the throttle body and you have a 97-98 you do not need on. Any nozzle location before the throttle body blade does not require the check valve. ![]() The inline check valves look like this |

That is correct. Now you will only set it up that way if your using a spacer. You don't need the 2" fitting along with the second 90 degree piece if you are tapping the side of the throttle body. You also don't need the check valve if it's before the throttle body.
