I hooked everything up yesterday, and tried running the setup. The red power light comes on and stays on without any noticeable glitches. The green and yellow lights don't light up unless I'm at about 80% throttle or so, then they both flicker together. (I have the dials set at about the minimum for both, and even tried 4-8 as well.) Once I hit WOT, the yellow starts blinking and doesn't stop, while the green never really comes on, and red stays lit. Let me know if this list is all I need to check, since I've already gone through it once over. Quote:

OK, thanks for the advice, hopefully it's just something minor. I'll get on it tonight, and hopefully some good results will be seen, as everyone else is having. - Dave

i was having the same probs, im sure dvldoc told ya about the alternative power source, seemed to solve my problems, i just went back over all my connections and made everything with a little thicker gauge wire and eliminated any spots for poor connections. good luck, and dvldoc will take care of you, i dont know him well but hes a good guy for the short time ive known him. OK, the ground wire on the controller harness had a bad connection, or prolly more like none at all. fixed it and went out with the AutoTap... will have results after the car gets used to it after a day or two. I'll post the initial results later tonight though. I can't wait until our PowerTuner comes back from getting updates at DHP, so we can rock the timing and such. Also gotta go pick up a ZZP/INTENSE MPS hub, so I can ttry a 3.2, 3.1, and 3.0 that we have laying around here. - Dave

Apparently the powerdrop in some cars cannot support the pump and makes the controller throw the low current warning. The alterant location is any of the pink wires in your Relay box. Just look for Slopokes write-up. I have mine connected to the powerdrop with no problems but for some it is. |
