im currently at work, but i realized when i put my car in park that my controller was blinking yellow for a few seconds and then the full LED indicator came on, suddently i knew it was spraying when it wasnt suppose to. my LS1M showed my LTFTs go rich to -11 and my idle began to get rough, so i had to apply some throttle to dump the excess washer fluid out. what would cause this to occur? a bad connection with the green MAP wire? i soldered the green wire from the controller to the green wire on the MAP sensor, but i cut the green wire on the controller a few inches away(when i had to ship the controller to easy performance i cut the green wire as a precaution). since i got the controller back, i used a wire crimp and electric tape to prevent outside debri from getting into the conenction. would that be the culprit or something else? the last thing i want is yet another near fatal hydrolocked L67 TIA fst100 edit-i also forgot about yesterday, i had the motor off and i heard the pump run when i was working on the car. i quickly grabbed my keys and started the car and had to really rev the car to prevent stalling. i was also thinking a bad pump? i just loosened the pump pressure screw just now by 1/4 turn. i originally had it near fully tightened Last edited by fst100; 05-14-2007 at 12:51 PM. Sounds like you have a loose wire. I would removed the whole system and re attach it. Also the pink wire of our controller should be hooked up to an ignation on. So it should not have power when the car is not running. When the green wire is loose you can have phantom readings on the controller as it searches for an input. This is similar to how a multi meter when on voltage scale will bounce around. I would ditch the solder and do bare wire connections and wrap with tap. Solder is brital and break loose under heat cycling. your pump is fine. |

the pink wires connected to a 12v constant underneath my steering column. its tapped into the one i believe for the ignition wire. will rocket for now i ditched the wire crimp and used a more suitable one. for now im keeping an eye on the controller for any signs of the yellow LED illuminating whenever im not in boost. its just a PITA getting any room where the L67 MPA sensor is >.< im also gonna be installing my m3 nozzle from the current m5. hopefully im not running too rich on alcohol and command my WB to 11.1 to 11.5 at least/hope. edit-would a bad ground wire from the controller or at the pump cause the pump to spray when the motor's off?
