squeaking sound at idle

Shortly after installing my alcohol kit there developed a squeaking sound when the car was idling. It happens about every second. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the blower. Used a stethoscope for listening it seemed loudest inside the blower. Any ideas on what the squeaking might be from?

Sounds like your coupler. Have you ever had it replaced before? If not, try that first

Bad couplers can sound like a ton of stuff, totally shot ones sound like rocks, once you go to a 3.25 pulley you can exspect to have to replace it, The holes get oval shapped from the stress of the blower spinning at a higher RPM. It's better to catch it early, the box of rocks sound is not the coupler but the rotors boncing around in the housing from being spun unevenley.
