Default tank and pump in trunk?

i see in most of the installs people ended up putting their tanks and pumps underhood, initially i was planning on mountign them in my trunk

would this be less than ideal?

thanks.

Many People mount the tank and pump in the trunk, I have done that on all my cars simply because its a lot easier and it keeps the pump away from the elements. And I run a large tank in the trunk so I only fill up about 1 time a month. You would just need extra hose to do the install.

Make sure you put at least a vent hole in the top of your tank.

I ran mine along the same path as my Amps power wire through the inside of the vehicle. You could loom make sure it's tucked up and out of the way under the vehicle if you run it there, The hose is very durable and a lot stronger than rubber fuel line. I ran mine under and along my fuel lines in my blue GTP. On many trucks they run it under the vehicle as well. You would need something like bottoming out the car to damage the hose.
