I received my universal kit just a couple of weeks ago and plan on the install here in the next few days. I noticed that everywhere I look the nozzle threads are called out as 1/8" NPT, but I can tell just by looking at them they are a straight thread (not to mention the o-ring gives it away). So I tried to thread it into an 1/8" NPT fitting, and sure enough, no go. Does anyone know what size they real quick before I run to the industrial store to match them up? thanks, clay

They are a tapered 1/8npt thread. When cutting npt threads in your intake and they are too loose the Oring becomes the seal. If you Cut the threads properly or use 1/8npt bungs you usually will not tighten down to the o ring.

yup, your right! I couldnt hardly thread it in by hand, but once I tried it with a small wrench, it went in ok. Must have been a burr on the 90' fitting I guess. Plus, with such a short section of thread, it looks like its straight and not tapered. Thanks! clay
