Instead of using the maps 0-5 volts, would it be benifical to use a 0-5 volt converter hooked to a egt probe? currently running two M5 jets, on at 2psi and full at 25psi. Rotary running 25psi. During the last MNM, the weather was very cold and today the weather was 80deg. I would think the motor could use more water on hot day the it would on cold nights. Or am I way off base? thanks. |

That's actually pretty slick for the price, We might have to look into something like that. Here is the scale they are using. Our controller in voltage mode which is in the same set up as a 3 bar operates from 1.8v to 5 volts so it would read 350 degrees to 1000 degrees using that temp probe. So as long as there scale is accurate the controller would operate over these ranges. |

I'll some calculating and give it a try. The only thing I'm worried about is the EGT will operate the water injection between shifts. I'll use a micro switch on the t-body that must be closed before the water injection comes on. thanks chuck Last edited by sleeper7; 02-23-2007 at 11:12 PM. |
