The controller stays on past the full point. Say you have the start and 6 and full at 15. The pump will kick on with a 15% duty cycle and ramp up as boost increases to 15 psi where 100% duty cycle is comanded and it stays 100% till the boost drops below.


You should only add timing in your uper tables of your pcm. This will leave your daily driving un effected.

I did find out that my software program only adjusts timing in boost.

I read the post a few back suggesting i have a 2.5 bar map, which controller should i get? 3 bar? I am assuming.

Well since you don't have a 2 bar or 3 bar map i would get the one with the voltage face plate.

bump as i would like to know as well. i've also read that the VW map sensors are at 2.5 bar, so which setting should the controller be on? 2 bar or 3?

Ive been reading in a few foums about people installing all these kits on there VW's but no specs, Most of them are on the stock turbo. But still they have a MAP setup so say I get a 3bar controller, it will still work to what i have the boost settings at... right?

Can someone please clarify this for me? There are other people i know who have the same question and are looking to make purchases.

Im not trying to be a nag but i am just looking for info, i have read good things abou the kit and it has the best price on the market.

If the kit is not compatible for my app I would like to know.

Sorry for the delay. GTI i am pretty sure have a 2.5 bar map.

Most all vw use our voltage controller.

You should not need anything else other than tools.

Nice, I just didnt have the data i was loking for but someone recently did a chart of Volts to boost so it is all relative now as to setting up the controller via volts for boost settings.
