Dual nozzle setup on 2.0TFSI

i have been contempating on the idea to install a dual nozzle setup on my 2.0TFSI.

i currently have a single nozzle (DO7) setup which is situated post intercooler, that nozzle size will change to a DO5 as soon as my supplier gets it to me.

my thinking has led me to wanna add another nozzle pre-turbo to lower my intake temps even further. current intake temps are at 21 degress celcius.
i am aiming at cancelling out the intercooler mod by doing this modification... for the time being anyway.

i have the following questions though:
1. what size nozzle should i use for the pre-turbo location?
2. should i change my post intercooler nozzle to a smaller size when upgrading to the dual nozzle setup?... smaller than a DO5?
3. what additional equipment would i need to purchase along with dual nozzle upgrade kit?... for ie. another check valve or 90 degree holder...
4. is there any sort of calculation i may use to determine correct nozzle size on a dual nozzle setup?
5. is there any harm to the turbo by injecting pre-turbo?
6. does pump pressure need to be increased?

thanx,
FR

You should stick with a D01 nozzle for small displacment engines, you can increase the pump pressure to 250 for more output if you like.

Some like adding a solenoid to the pre-turbo nozzle as there is a little bit of spray after initial shut off but a check valve right at the nozzle also helps with this. The dual nozzle kit will only make the current check valve a inline check valve.

For doing pre-turbo it's better to have a check valve right at the nozzle holder or very close to it. So you could just order the Y fitting, a check valve, a nozzle holder, nozzle and hose. Doing pre-turbo is a bit different than just a dual nozzle kit.

There should not be any major bends after your injection point or odd shapped tubing, ie not round. Trying to get it as close to a strait shot to the turbo opening is what you should be looking at.

Re: Dual nozzle setup on 2.0TFSI

I'm running the stage 2 kit on my 2.0T, DO5 nozzle, old 150 psi pump turned up to max pressure (200?). Injecting right before the TB.

Here are my most recent logs running aggressive timing and boost.
