I always start with a mix and work on it from there 20/80 is a good place to start. You have to monitor your knock and AF ratios to get were you should be there are no magic numbers for all cars you will have to make adjustements to fit your mods and your vehicles specs.

there's a tonne of good info on TeamFc3s.com. BDC (user name) is a big rotary guru who has a tonne of great info on the use/tuning of 50/50 meth and water. Just log in and look at the Auxilliary Injection threads. Rx7club.com, under the same thread heading is good too.
From what I understand, methanol is THE next big thing in rotary tuning- the strong exhaust pulsing (heat production) and fragility of the motor to detonation via pre-ignition makes methanol injection a great option. With methanol injection, the ability to run more boost makes using bigger turbos an option...

yea ive been reading his stuff, he does take it to the next step by actually removing 30% fuel from his map and adding methanol instead. great guy. i just got a exhaust manifold and wastegate for free so now im considering wether i should go go full out turbo or still buy the hybrid?

using methanol, if I were to do it over, I'd go with a Gt35r at minimum (70mm comp.wheel). That turbo, for example, is working at peak efficiency over the 15 psi mark on a street ported rotary. You can run it up to ~20psi, make more power, and still get the response of a stock turbo. You can also find the equivalent on a non-BB turbo and save a bit of coin while losing a bit of response.
The BNR hybrids (even the Stage4) lose alot of efficiency through the smaller hotside that you pick up with a properly sized (t04) turbine housing.
As always, it just boils down to how much you want to spend. I think value is the only place where the hybrids win.

according to the fuel calculator on this site, M7 should be plenty (I'm using the same turbo and am going to start there)- I've noticed however, that many guys are using more. BDC was using a similar turbo w/ street porting and was using one M15. That would be one end of the extreme, I think. I have a feeling that one M10-M12 is what I'll eventually end up at.
