Ok got everything installed and i'm having 2 problems, not matter what i set the boost switch to 5-30psi the system activates under 1-2 pounds of boost? also for my ignigtion source I used the switch i used for the tmic spray. Whether thats on or off the system still activates at 1-2psi? Ive checked everyrthing and its looks right any ideas? Also man that thing is LOUD sounds like an electric supercharger under the hood!..lol Is that normal? thanks for any help!

The pump should not be that loud, I know i can't hear mine in any of the vehicles i have it in which some are right behind the seat. If you mounted to a surface that vibrates then it's going to make it loud.

As far as the switch goes those things are pretty much nuts on every time, I only think we have had one go bad in 2 years. You need to check the source line your using for your pressure switch. Make sure it does not have a clog or restriction in it that is causing the pressure to be increase therefor making the switch think the pressure is higher than it really is. Remove the hose all the way to were it connects to the intake and see if you can blow through it. Also check to see if there is not a obstruction in the base of the pressure switch like a piece of carbon that got blown free and lodged itself in there. Some canned air or air hose should do the trick for that.

Thanks will do! it is loud though, its like a HUGE electric drill going off does that mean I have a bad pump?

Its a boost leak cuase I took out the fuse to the pump and it still makes the noise it reeall sounds like electric supercharger..lol Now i just have to figure out where..

Sounds like your motor might be binding on the pump, They are fairly quiet, I can only here mine ticking in my back seat in my supercoupe. And Have run these on the bench for many hours at a time.

PM rocket468 or contact the shop for the RMA form to return the pump and we will get you one out asap. And while your waiting on the pump you can do this to figure out your boost issue. Hook up a led or panel light to the pressure switch and see when it comes on compared to what you have it set at and your boost gauge.

I'm pretty sure it's has something to do with your line.

Thanks for help but i'm not following you, what do you mean "binding the pump" I thought the noise was my boost leak and i never even heard the pump? Thanks for more help I reeally want to get this handled !I gonna take off my tmic tonight and see if i can fix this if its a bost leak..

I must have misread, we answer a crap ton of questions every day, I thought you said your pump was making a load noise like a electric supercharger. If your talking about your motor check for boost leaks. Or other potential problems.

Yeah it was aboost leak sounded like a loud eltric whine..lol car is running great!!!!
