Do you mean the hammer mod when you say tweak? I've recently had the IP timing checked and it is dead on. It is a Cummins 4BT based IP. I have the wastegate adjusted to give me 18 psi max and about 13-15 normal running (GT-15).

The reason I like the Bosch VE IP is because it's completely tunable mechanically, as I'm sure Bruce can comfirm also. Take a look here, this is the web page that got me into these pumps. Turning up the pre 94 Ram diesel injector pump
