How much boost with pump + meth?

Hey guys,
I was wondering how much boost I can run before I'm in danger of detonating. I run 92 octane, (2) 14 GPH nozzles fed by a single pump. Today I ran 25 PSI through my T70 with no problems. I'm wondering If I can run 30 PSI with 92 and meth?

additional info:
3.0L I6 (2JZGE-T)
8.0 C/R.
24x12x4 FMIC
T70 w/ .68 AR exhaust housing
50/50 mix meth/h20
Tuned for 11.5 AFR

do you have anyway to moniter knock??

do you swap out the 7mgte for the 2JZ ?

you can get away with more boost and timming with the a/f @ 10.5 with meth.

and not mixing running straight meth /alcohol will supress knock better and make more HP

set your a/f 11.5 without alcohol

and 10.5 with alcohol

Yes, I swapped out the 7MGTE for the 2JZGE and turboed it.

I don't have anything to monitor knock with..first because the factory ECU is out and I'm not running knock sensors (and no monitor is compatable with the toyota knock sensors anyways), secondly not many people run them on my car so I don't know what a good knock monitor unit is.

I was thinking I should be safe with such a large ammount of methanol being injected but I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.

thats a good idea, I'll add some denatured alcohol to the mix when I want to run the higher boost, and keep my ARF's rich.

One more thing.. a little off topic tho.. does anyone know if alcohol/methanol loses it's octane after sitting (like gasoline), I assume it does.

LOL, my math was off big time when i calculated the nozzle size. I'm running double meth I need to be. Anways, I'm still trying to figure out what my max boost should be.

If my math is right.. my octane rating should be around 99.2 w/ 100% denatured alcohol and the correct nozzle size.. how much boost do you guys think I can run with this setup?

are you running a m10 or m14 nozzle?

The original post says he's running two M14 nozzles.

Out of curiousity, have you put a pressure gauge on your setup to see what pressure you're actually running?

damn, (2) 14gph nozzles huh? If you could get your hands on straight meth you could run 30psi safely. I can run double the boost with meth than without on my single 10gph nozzle.

No updates really. I ran 25 PSI on the setup (running straight denatured alcohol from home depot). I have had no issues and I've been running really aggressive timing. I've had no issues with running that ammount of meth, I just tune for it and all is well.

I'm bumping up my CR from about 8:1 to 8.7:1 so I'll be running significantly less boost. I don't want to chance anything.
