Here's the car. It's a 99 VW GTI VR6 2.8L DOHC. It's stock other than a t3/to4e turbo kit from Kinetic motorsport. A few months back I dyno'd locally on a dynojet and made crap for power at 8 psi. I got a couple bugs worked out (bad plugs, wires, maf, fuel filter, and small vacuum leak) installed the devils own w/i kit. The car rocks now and I recently dyno'd on a different dynojet. I know...I know...that was bad...but I did and I'm happy. The numbers on both dyno's were accurate because there were a lot of other cars making what they were suppossed to. Just for the record...I'll never go back to dyno #1 because those guys are a bunch of idiots who just recently tried to screw me over on some wheel spacers among other things. ![]() Dyno number 1 at 8 psi... ![]() Dyno number 2 at 11 psi with a 2.5" tb (tiny for the car). Both runs were within 2 minutes of each other and the dyno operator forgot to bring his fan. ![]() ![]() I'm so impressed with the w/i kit. I'm running the walmart supertech winter stuff. |

Very nice numbers, Your first tune you must have had some really serious issuse with plugs and MAFF that Dyno is pretty Jagged. I'm pretty impress with the power at 11psi on a VW. Hopefully you post your results on the VW forums |

I sure did. Only a handful of people for some reason looked at it. I tell everyone I know with FI to add w/i. I'm sure with a 3" tb + 1-2 more psi I could see ~ 330whp on stock compression which is 10:1. Currently I'm getting 0 kr / pulled timing.
