Hi people, Well only just getting into this water injection thing, had most of the gear for the last year or so and just purchasing some nice bits from DevilsOwn. The car is a MR2 Turbo, after market IC, currently running 15psi of boost, last dyno was 279bhp with 304 lb/ft torque. Okay initially I am going for the 3gph jet and am adding the "adjustable pressure switch". My question(s) are: 1. At what PSI is it best to set the Water Injection to come in at. 2. I presume a 50/50 Meth/Water is going to be the best setup 3. Any other tips on how I go about tuning this setup, given factory ECU I may at a later date add on the Progressive Controller. If your keeping to running 15psi most of our customers get it to come in at 12psi, As for the mix (cant remember who told me) but i was told that on the WRC cars they were finding a 50/50mix was best, anything over that and they werent gaining any more power, infact i think they lost a bit of power? most of our guys run about a 30-40% methanol to water. As for tuning and setting up you wont beat adding something like an apex-i power fc so you can set up your fueling and timing.
