Nozzle mounted 'After Intake Sensor' instead of 'Post Intercooler', difference?

i told my tuner to mount the nozzle post intercooler as thats the suggested position in your 'nozzle mounting' article.
he went and mounted it 'after intake sensor' as for convenience i presume for when changing nozzles.

what are the pros and cons of mounting the nozzle 'after intake sensor' versus "post intercooler" that is before the IAT sensor?

thanx,
FR

Is it before the turbo, when you say after intake sensor and pre IC? or after turbo but pre IC??

post intercooler but before the IAT sensor means the IC will do its job the the water/meth will cool more and then the IAT will see this and keep the Timing advanced right up and hold boost and not back it off.

You really wanna get it before the IAT otherwise the ECU wont see the cooler charge temps and pull timing and boost.

Pros are the engine management will see the cooler temps, cons are it wont and will pull timing and boost as said.

I'm not sure where they are on the FR's.

I'll find out tomoz for you.

on this intake pipe, is the MAP sensor connected to it or is it the IAT sensor... as that will determine if i have got it wrong?
my apologies if i did.

The MAP/IAT sensor on the FR is located in the boost pipe just after the intercooler (about 6 inches) as it sweeps up.

You need to either mount the nozzle straight after the IC or move the sensor.
