alright, im brand spanking new to this...as are most people im finding out. my AIT sensor is in the middle of my intake manifold about 7-8 inches after the throttle body. so im obviously going to be injecting before that. so my timeing will need to be adjusted right? and im going to get rid of my intercooler set up, so from turbo to throttle body will only be about 3 feet of piping with only one real bend. would it be better to inject Methenol right after the turbo so it can fully evaporate and cool the air better, at the same time "freezing" my pipe for colder air? or closer to the throttle body is better? anyone here experienced in rotarys, so i can have some help choosing wich nozzle size to inject my meth...??? |

Got a close up pic of your set up and we can tell you just wear to place it. You don't want it to close to the turbos outlet, thats alot of heat comming off the housing. You can relocate you IAT to just after the nozzle as well. Not sure if you have a aftermarket PCM or means of adjusting your timing.

this is not my car...but it has basically the same turbo, pipe design, and engine/manifold, mine will have. this one is equipped with 50/50 methanol/water injection already. before the turbo and on the elbow close to the throttle body. |

I'm using a Haltech e6x- in my estimation putting the nozzle in after the IAT sensor makes the most sense. That should simplify tuning... I can see some benefits in putting it in before the IAT as well, but it would seem that tuning the car would then become a complex issue. Anyone care to enlighten me?
