I recently bought an older kit with a controller that looks just like that. What do you mean run a relay inline? Have the blue wire pulse width modulate a relay that in turn powers the pump? Will a relay have a fast enough response time to keep up with the controller's PWM? Can the controller be updated with better hardware instead? I had it on the car and operational for a few days and it seemed okay. But the last thing I want is a failure at WOT as I don't have any failsafe mechanism in place yet. |

Run a relay on the Controllers Pink power wire, Not the blue output wire. The issue we had was with Turbo diesel guys doing full load with high volumes for extended periods of time on the old unit. Thats why the controller was redone.
