Default WI on my Supra

Hey guys.
I'm new to this forum and looking for some insight on Water/Meth injection.

My car is a 96 JDM Supra SZR NA-T.

Now i'm running 1.1bar as max because of my TThg..they say this is about max on 98ron fuel

How and how much would it be safe to turn up the boost on my NA-T Supra with WI

I use a MapEcu2 for fuel and timing control.

Any input would be great

A little video of my NA-T setup

With the higher compression vs the TT Sups, with the alcohol injection its all about scanning, there is no magic number. But I would figure from what I've seen with NA conversions with FMIC and no alcohol able to run 8psi or (.55bars) to 12psi or (.82bars) God I hate bars with a T04E-60 on 100 octane then a vehicle running 50/50 or 100% will be able to run the same as the one with the FMIC. I think you go with 440cc injectors on most of the base Single turbo upgrades for the NA supras.

You have a bunch of other factors like downpipe size, fuel pump, intake, timing curve, fuel curve that play a role in how much you can push it. If you dont have a wide band I would not go to far beyond the stock kits specs.

Because your getting the intercooling plus race gas with the alcohol injection you should be able to push it further but you don't want to tune beyond the margin of safety.

Can't see the youtube vid from this PC but I'm assuming you have a FMIC.

Dvldoc, the TT Hg drops the compression a bit, I think almost a point if I remember correctly. I was gonna buy and NA-T a Soarer, sorry, sc300 before I got here.

You should be able to easily hit 20psi with no knock with that set up and alcohol injection.
Hopefully when you said you never heard knock this if not audible your talking about you need a scan tool to detect it from the knock sensors. Looks like you got a good wideband to keep things monitored.

Wow that sounds great

The mechanic me and my friend use is the "super" at Toyota here in town.
So we have often ran the oem scantool to see if there is any errorcodes and other things, and no hearable knock

About timing..

Can anyone tell me about adjusting timing at no boost-low boost 0-10psi and max boost, in my case 16-17 psi.

I will be turning up boost from 16-17 to about 20-22 psi.
Also i'm thinking to set the Progressive Controller to start spraying at 11psi and running full spray at 22psi when i'am running my water/meth map.

where and when should i retard and advance.
Totally blank when it comes to timing.

I've done all the mapping on the MapEcu2 my self and car runs great, so i just want to know how i should adjust timing, and how much.
