I've never heard knock in either of my turbo cars, yet at times I've seen it on the scan tool, I'd cool it on going to 22psi until you know for sure you're not knocking, be patient or pay.

Typically on chipped cars as soon as boost comes in the timing goes to the preset amount. Usually when the car see's 100% TPS it'll put the timing in the performance map.

On old school cars with distributors they pull timing per psi of boost. Ex, if you are pushing 10psi and your total WOT timing is 36 degrees then the control box will pull whatever you tell it too per psi. A lot of people do 1 degree per psi so you'd end up with 26 degrees of timing at 10psi.

I have a dual nozzle progressive kit on my NA-T sc300. I've got a few questions....

U have a mapECU right? Why do you have a vortech FMU installed? What ratio is it? I would remove this and use the stock regulator. It is a 1:1 setup and works fine. The FMU is for cars without the ability to tune fuel maps.

Once that is removed U need to pull timing like crazy. My car was showing 24-25* timing at WOT pulls. I run an AEM ems now. I can post up a timing curve map U can sort of study. I keep timing low and boost high. Max timing @ boost I usually ramp up to 18*. I'd suggest U start with 16* monitor your knock sensor voltage/knock. And yes as said above U have to have some sort of scanning tool that monitors your knock, a code reader will not work.

I run a 2.5mm HG so I can get away with more than you. But I ran 26psi on my 60mm 91 octane fuel. I'm sure with the higher octane fuel your using 22psi+ should not be a problem. Just bump boost and timing up slowly and watch A/F ratios and detonation.

Good luck....

I've got a 66mm I'm trying to tune now but I had an issues with the alcohol kit. So I'm on hold for high boost at the moment.

Example of the map I created for low timing....Bump up in small increments from this point at boost levels. The cruise settings are pretty good.
