So i have a Corrado G60 turbo. Stock compression is 8:1 Runing 1.15 bar with only SMIC resulted in melted piston from detonation (i heard it, just didnt know what it was at that time ) but fueling was OK. So it was to much hot air/pressure. Now i've fitted a FMIC and i´m runing 1.1 bar at 11.8 afr and all ok. What i pretend to do is put WI (10% of total fuel) of just water, than raise boost until: 1- see knock or 2- get to a 12.5 AFR Is this a proper way to use WI? |
