OK, this needs to be checked out on a dyno. I took a litre of my 20% blend and put about 10 ml of the dishwasher rinse in it. Whereas the methanol blend would still bead up droplets with surface tension, the addition of the rinse completely eliminated it. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way! I poured the litre into my reservoir and took it for a ride. I THINK it may be better, however a dyno will take any subjective elements out of the equation. I was going to take the truck over to my 'test' hill, but the truck speed is now just too damn fast and dangerous to use that hill anymore. I've gone from 87 km/hr to 110 km/hr. I've got to find another hill. Perhaps a dyno run on a bigger gas/petrol engine would be informative. If this stuff significantly reduces the droplet size (especially for larger nozzles), then it may provide better in-cylinder detonation control. On my long induction tract diesel, it may provide a better cooling of the intake charge. I don't know, but I want to find out, this could be a way to augment the abilities of the WI systems. The blend needs so little of the rinse to drop the surface tension that it hardly made any color change in my reservoir. It looks like I will have to get some food dye if I want to tint the blend.
