alcohol fuel

so i work at my local track and just realized that we have alcohol fuel an was wondering if that was usable in the methanol system or if it was a totally different type of alcohol?

I would ask...generally speaking all the tracks around here have race gas and methanol. Most likely it's methanol they, have, but just ask. That said, if there are any speed shops or even engine machine shops around, alot of them will sell fuel and methanol as well.
