Question cheap mixtures to use aside from washer fluid

Aside from the $1.50 -20*F washer fluid, is there anything else that’s more effective but cheap to use for injection I can get from the grocery store/auto-parts store? If so what kind of mixture is considered?

Methanol, Pure Ethanol Not e85, are the best 2 that work. Rubbing alcohol works too.

isopropyl (rubbing)works fine, but I would not use it in a trunk mounted kit, The smell is strong even if you only have a small vent hole. Plus you can get it in up to 90%. Asian market places this is a good option because methanol is very hard to come by.

I am going back to methanol. I used Isopropyl acohol. But the smell is starting to get to me on those rainy days when I have to have the top up and airconditioning on.

Yeah, you warned me...LOL

But when the top is down, it is not even noticeable. I vented the tank in the trunk. The vent line runs down under the car. But somehow, the fumes still come in to the passenger compartment.

is rubing alcohol more efective than washer fluid? and do you have to add any lubricants, because i want to run methinol, but i heer you need a lubricant for it and i cant find the lubricant anywere, not to metion its expensive if i were to order some online. but methinol is no problem for me i can get it for 5$ a gallon at the local drag strip.

Well if your talking about consentration for the money rubbing alcohol can be normally found from 70% to 99% percent concentrations at most stores, You can get the big bottles at Kmart and Wal Mart on the cheap.

What most people don't know is that is actually made from ethyl alcohol Ethanol content usually ranges from 70-95% v/v. Depending on who makes the brand. No lubes are needed with our pumps with any of the 3 choices.

Oh yeah Poisoning can occur from inhalation of the fumes, This is why do not put it anywere inside your vehicle. It is very over powering. But under the hood works like a champ.

Research Octane Number is around 105 vs methanols 113

If your running to rich on methanol this is a good option if you tank is under hood.
