I keep a apartment there my friend, in Pampanga it's my second home I go there all the time, I plan on getting a 2.8 TD/IC Space gear 4x4 van there or a the 2.5 litter Delica 4x4 van some time this. You can pick these up for as cheap as 4K US which is not a bad deal.

I'll be trying propane injection on one when I go back in July and see how much hp it picks up. Should be double the alcohol easily.

You know me man , Most of these vehicles are pretty low HP only about 80hp and 200lbs tq when you do the conversion so they need all the help you can give them.

I am currently looking at the diesels in Japan in case I stay here a little longer. Found a Delica for sale. No way I would lift that thing, and I wouldn't want to be in it if the wind was blowing. It just screams rollover.

@dust,,,,i suggest yuo get a toyota surf with 1kz-te engine,,,its a good engine by toyota..3.0 turbo intercooled...its one of my engine wish list...i wiosh to have one...also if theres a 1kd-ftv its better if yuo can have one...

One of my co-workers has one. If she leaves before I do I may buy it from her. Problem is the 3 liter engine means that the yearly road tax is 5.7 times higher (8800 yen compared to 50000 for the Surf), and the inspection that comes every two years will be about 3 times as much (40000 yen compared to 150000 yen for the Surf) $1 US = 120 yen.

Besides, I just hooked up a hose to a vacuum port near the throttle body, and steam cleaned the crap out of my pistons. The knock that I had from half throttle on is now only there at above 5000 RPMs. 60 yen for the hose. Probably 50 for the basketball needle (for flow reducing), and whatever the concoction of acetone, Redline SI-1 and water that I randomly poured into the jar cost. The main reason I was looking at getting rid of it is now all but gone.
