I know if you run too larger thank recommended nozzle (like double the volume for instance) for a 50/50 mix of water and methanol, or 100% water injection you'll feel the car bogg or miss, even with the AFR's tuned. I was wondering if you were to run 100% methanol with said larger nozzle, and the AFR was tuned.. could you run without any bogging/missing problems. This would be benefitial to get a higher octane rating without having to run race gas. I was just currious becuase I know methanol/alcohol has an octane of 120-something and some cars use it as a primary fuel.. so I was just curious. |

You can run as much meth as you want. The key when running it for a fuel replacement is equal distribution and propper tuning. It takes roughly twice the methanol in volume to make the same power as gasoline. Lots of Meth early or late in the rpm doesn't matter, as long as your car is tuned for it.

| I agree 100% , I will post some dynos very soon , my car got about 15 whp more from 50-50 mix to 100% meth. same a/f and timing, and I was able to advance 3 more degrees of timing with 16 more whp on top. the peak hp was 26 more whp and 34 peak lbs over 50-50 mix. |
