| Alcohol Holic Year: 1999 Make: Daihatsu Model: Move | So I spent some time last week creating a converter to see how much I would pay for a certain percentage of methanol. Take a look at the zipped up excel file. A1 is the price per container I pay for Windshield Washer fluid. The B column is the amount(in liters) of fluid. C is the percentage of methanol in the substance. D is the percentage times the amount. Row 3 is the other liquid (pure methanol or water in my case). A6 is the cot per liter, depending on desired %. C21 is the target methanol %. So, in laymans terms, I can buy WWF that cost 198 yen. It's 40% methanol. I desire a 20% methanol blend, and the numbers are crunched. I would pay 99 yen per liter of methanol These are 5 examples of the washer fluid in my area. I know that most of you guys will have different everything, but I just wanted to post an example, and hope that it might help someone out. Last edited by Dust; 12-11-2007 at 04:41 PM. |
