Another thing. We did some testing with intank pumps, and we found them to corrode. We used standard pumps in our testing. So this may not be an issue with what you have, I am not telling you to quit using what you have just be aware of our finding so you can watch for signs of failure before it happens. Which may not happen at all. We are not sure what is different with the flex fuel pumps other than the seals are ethanol compatible. Eth is not corrosive like Meth is. So its possable its just a seal change. Eth likes to eat plastics and rubbers, Meth likes to eat metals.. |

Rocket, thanks for the info. I have a 1.8gpm shurflo pump that i plan to install shortly. I've never experienced the "bog" people talk about so i was always concerned about what size nozzle i needed.

Well, the fuel pump i'm using has been sitting in the resevoir now for about 6 months, which does concern me. That is why I plan to swap it out for this shurflo pump, plus the benefit of higher pressure . I have noticed since going from 10psi of boost (a/f would drop from 12.4 to 11.4) to 15psi (a/f drops from 12.4 to 12.0) that I may be stretching it a bit.
