| Tonight at the track, running 94 octane in my turbo caravan, your kit, M3 nozzle and 25-35 psi of boost. I am using a product called Boost Juice as I was in a hurry and couldn't find pure methanol. It doesn't give a ratio but I would assume its 50/50. I was fine at 25 psi, no detonation but 30-35, ping city, I need more fuel so what will get me there or do I need to run the M5 nozzle?

| Hmmmmmmmm, even though in the other post you said use the M3 nozzle. I will try pure meth and see what happens. If that doesn't work, then the M5 it is. BTW, I love this kit, its so easy to use and I can run 87 octane gas now at 25 psi on the street, insane,

| is it true your meth should account for 20% of your fueling need? (rough estimate i'm sure). I've always wondered how people figure out which nozzle is best for their set-up. I run an M15 on my 5.0 turbo set-up and it seems to be perfect at the 15psi level (non intercooled). The car makes just over 500rwhp at 15psi, 30% meth and 93 gas. Been thinking about adding a second nozzle (M5) to see if it will bog or boogie. ![]() |

| Theres alot of factors with nozzle size, other than motor size and boost, Injector size, IC or no IC, Turbo or supercharged ect, ect, ect. We've been doing it long enough to get it right about 95%. Give us your specs and will tally it up. Chance actually has a nozzle size program to do this. |

| basically for an alcohol kit i'm running a Ford Windstar (flex fuel) intank fuel pump and an M15 nozzle. My flowing pressure is 65psi through the nozzle. Stock 5.0 with decked and ported heads (roughly 9.5:1 comp). Master Power T70, no intercooler, 42# injectors and a 255 intank fuel pump. At 15psi on 93 fuel and the -20 Advance auto w/w fluid and 21* total timing it made 511 rwhp @ 5200rpm / 552 rwtq @ 4400rpm. Not sure what other info you need.

| DevilsOwn Staff Year: 2000 Make: Pontiac Model: Grand Prix | drmatera, with the pressure you have your going to need more nozzle. With our kits 17gph of nozzle. our kits with this much nozzle will be around 150psi @1.0gpm body pump. You have about 1/2 the pressure so you will need more nozzle to comp sate for that. It takes 4 times the pressure to double the flow. I think a good base would be another 10gph nozzle. |
