Default Testing for soap in WWF

How do I do it? Is it as easy as shaking it up and looking for bubbles?

I've heard that's the way to do it. Most of the cheap ones won't foam up. You get a few small bubbles, though. It's the more expensive name brand fancy stuff that will foam up (with the soap I guess, perhaps other stuff too, I dunno).

Thats pretty much dead on, the cheap stuff tends not to have extra cleaners in it, Things to stay away from anything that says streak free, de-icer, cleans better than the leading brand, ect. You can also look up there MSDS and find out exactly what's in them.

i always use 3 bottles of yellow heet and top off the rest of the gallon tank with the advanced auto brand 20degree blue washer fluid. i used walmart brand once or twice but walmart brand worries me because it doesn't say 20 degree and i was under the influence that 20degree is the only way to go.

another thing that woriies me about walmart brand blue washer fluid is that there is a summer and a winter blend and they are both blue? i like to stick to the simple 20degree blue washer fluid.

In Japan you can see the amount of methanol in it. i am sure that the same is true in the states. I would just buy a few bottles of whatever is winter blend, after shaking it. whatever has the most methanol is what you need, and I would assume that the lower the temp, usually the more methanol, although not always true.

Sorry, let me clear up my meaning. Find a winter blend with high meth. Shake it to check for soap. Buy alot in case they don't carry the winter blend later. I have a 20 liter container full of WWF with some methanol mixed in. I used it for kerosene, but retired it. The pump stays on it, so I have the big container and one 2 liter bottle to transfer to the car whenever I need it.
