|  Where to buy Methanol locally in Ma??
I will be recieving my devils own kit thursday and will install it that night. I want to run my car at waterfest at E-town saturday and sunday, So i would like to fill up my 4 quart tank with 51% distilled water and 49% methanol (or whatever the percents are) for the ride down there to play with it and get use to it. But where do i buy methanol?? TIA~Rob

Homedepot or lowes has it in the paint section, as well as denatured alcohol, Also it can be found at NAPA (brake line antifreeze) or any car parts store in small bottles (gas line antifreeze) If you have a local speedshop they should sell it by the gallon as well. Walmart -20 washer fluid is 40% methanol you can just top it off with a few bottles of the gas line antifreeze.

We have a local truck stop here is KC, Missouri that has a methanol, power100, and a power 110 side. Its tempting to put some power 110 in the tank until you see the 8.50/gal price.

Thanks for all your help guys! i just purchased a gallon of "klean strip" denatured alcohol at 15 dollars a gallon... ouch! But anyways how should i run this for max performance with safety in mind? Someone mentioned here on this thread to run it straight?? Will that be safe what is the reasoning for that, cooling octane performance safety any thoughts would be great! TIA -Rob
