windshield fluid question

Hi. We have this blue windshield fluid consentrate, and on the tag it says

etanol
butanon
2-propanol

Can i use this fluid and mix 50/50 with water?

Don't use it!

The only kind of concentrate you should use is the cheap walmart brand, It's just pure methanol.

How about 95%denaturert etanol, or 100% pure etanol.
I am from Norway btw so we dont have methanol in the stores.
Can i use "moonshine" its 93% alcahol

Denatured is pretty much the same as ethyl alcohol (moonshine) it just has 10% methanol in it to make it where you can't drink it.

You can use, Gin, Voldka, it really does not matter they all work fine.

Wooohooo went by a RC shop today and the guy there orderd me 10l of pure methanol

kinda pricy at 52nok for 1l or 48dollars a gallon.

Did you mean 4.8 dollars a gallon or 48 because then that would be way to much for the averaged person to pay

That would be 48dollars

I could get 125liters at 1100nok or 220dollars for 31.25gallons but thats straight from Statoil Gas Company

For that price I would look at running something else that is cheaper.

So would I, It would be better just to run Denatured or Volka or Gin, cheap 80 or 90 proof, If you can find cheaper even better, But that is way to much to pay for methanol.
