Pre-turbo setup. Dual .75gph @ 250psi!

Just thought I'd show you all what the spray pattern looks like. I'm hoping the by spraying them into one another so closely it will help atomization. Doubt it will be an issue with the tiny nozzles and high pressure though.

Installed on a 93 Eagle Talon TSI 16G turbo 30+ lbs...

Is there a solenoid or check valve on those?

ok. only saw one drop come out, so I thought I would see what was stopping the flow.

I did buy a check valve but after seeing it operate I don't think I need it. I didn't want to loose the pressure if it wasn't needed. I think the tiny nozzles really don't bleed out much. Most of the pressure is probably bleeding out the 7gpm TB mounted nozzle.

Re: Pre-turbo setup. Dual .75gph @ 250psi!

I'm not crazy about the way this sprays everything at one side...

Have you tested this with a large volume of air at high velocity?

I have been using a shop vac (in blower mode) and also a gas powered 200+mph leaf blower. I have arrived at a custom milled nozzle holder which places the spray nozzle 8-12mm from the compressor wheel nut, and is fed by 1/16" nitrous hardline (leftovers from my direct port system)
The holder is aluminum (for now) and looks like a bullet, and since it is directly in front of the shaft/nut the only thing obstructing airflow is the 1/16" hardline supplying it.

Thanks a lot for posting this! I just realized that by making a video of your tests, you are able to see things that the eye doesn't pickup in real time.
This is exactly what I NEED to be doing when I'm testing out different possibilities.

I understand what your saying. It's by no means perfect.

But with 100% meth, tiny nozzles, and low volume I'm not really worried about compressor damage. I was thinking about doing a higher volume setup on my 68mm turbo car and using some 1/16 hardline as you did.

I'd be very interested in seeing some pictures of your setup.
